Days are changing, some say far to quick,
How quickly she has grown, it makes me feel a little sick,
Gone is her crib, made way for a "big girl" bed,
Ten thousand thoughts, now bouncing around in her head,
"Let's go outside", perfectly articulated,
OR "No, go away" has often been said,
No matter what comes out, her eyes speak the truth,
The carefree days that accompanies youth,
Between Sunday dance parties, or head banging to metal,
Daddies little girl refuses to settle,
Now the day is spent, bed time routine must be met,
There is so much to be done by sunset,
Wrestling match, PJ's, brush teeth and a kiss,
I know one day, these are all the things that I'll miss.

Love it! Could almost be Hallmark material. Might have to change the headbanging part.
